We have made a home that we'd like to spend time in, should we ever have free time, which is only occasionally. It's warm, full of personality and quirks. My husband is a graphic designer, I am a freelance performer and writer, and in making a home, we're focused on creating a space in which we love to cook or make a cocktail. Anyone with a similar sensibility will feel immediately at home.

This is an actual neighborhood where neighbors talk to each other. New and classic establishments live side by side. We highly encourage guests to feel a part of Bed Stuy as opposed to just witnessing it. You'll meet some of the friendliest people in New York. Coffee Shop featuring Stumptown Coffee (from Portland, Ore.) and Dough doughnuts (from right here in Bed-Stuy - they're incredible) is a half block away. Brew, a craft beer bar with adjoining wine store is 3 blocks down the street. The best Jamaican food I've had is around the corner. Buses are just outside the apartment! The b52 and b43 are very helpful getting you around Brooklyn if you don't drive or bike. The express A/C is about 10 min away, and the crosstown G is about 6 min away. A bike is available for rental! Brooklyn is best traversed by bicycle, and all neighborhoods (the ones you'd want to visit - Ft. Greene, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Clinton Hill, Carroll Gardens, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights) are a short bike ride away.
